When is Graduation?

Thursday, June 13

Graduation will be held at Alaska Airlines Arena at Hec Edmundson Pavilion on the campus of the University of Washington, Seattle at 1:30 P.M.

What is the Pre-Commencement Celebration?

Saturday, June 8

Prior to graduation, there is a Pre-Commencement Celebration, formerly known as Convocation.The Pre-Commencement Celebration brings the graduating class together to reflect on their hard work, personal growth, and achievements. It is a memorable experience for students and their families to share something meaningful while showcasing their talents and strengths, regardless of academic standing. This non-religious program includes student and staff speakers, musical performaces, and the beloved baby photos slideshow. The program will begin at 10:00 A.M. at Timberlake Church in Redmond. 

What is the Senior Slideshow?

It is a long-standing tradition at Eastlake to have a senior slideshow at the Pre-Commencement Celebration. Each senior is featured on a slide showing a baby photo alongside a current photo. We love to see to just how far they’ve come!

What is a Grad Walk?

Grad walks are held at participating elementary and middle schools. By attending a grad walk, seniors have an opportunity to visit their old school and see just how far they have come. Former teachers are delighted to welcome them back and young students cheer them on as they parade through the school in their caps and gowns. It is a fun tradition that kicks off the start of graduation festivities.

Class of 2024 Yard Signs

Class of 2024 yard signs are available as of April 25. Signs are $21 each (plus tax) and can be purchased from Mail Post in Sammamish (Safeway shopping center, next to EHS).

When is the Senior Breakfast?

Wednesday, June 12

Senior Breakfast is sponsored by the EHS PTSA. It takes place during school hours prior to the graduation rehearsal and awards ceremony. It is a seniors-only event. 

What is Grad Night?

Grad Night is Eastlake's traditional senior send-off event and takes place on the night of graduation. This AMAZING all-night celebration for the senior class is sponsored and organized by the Eastlake High School PTSA. Graduates board charter buses and visit two private event venues in the Seattle area for a night of fun entertainment and activities. It is a great way to provide a safe and secure environment for one last get-together with classmates. Tickets on sale HERE.
